Arrival in Marrakech
Step off the plane and into warm Moroccan air. Your private driver greets you and whisks you through the lively streets to your riad, a hidden oasis tucked behind ancient medina walls. Check in, exhale, and let the courtyard fountains and tiled mosaics welcome you. At 6pm, gather for your first dinner together, where candlelight, tagines, and mint tea set the tone for the days ahead.
Arrival is at Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK). Arrive by 3pm local time on June 16th to rest and participate in the first day's activities.
Marrakech Unveiled
After breakfast, meet your private guide and dive into the heartbeat of Marrakech. Wander through winding souks bursting with spices, lanterns, woven rugs, and hand-painted ceramics. Learn the art of the friendly bargain, where haggling is less battle and more dance. We will also then visit the beautiful Bahia Palace and the historic Koutoubia Mosque. By the end of the day, the medina won't feel overwhelming. It will feel alive⦠and familiar.
Atlas Views & Berber Traditions
Today you journey into the breathtaking Ourika Valley. Pass terraced hillsides and red-earth villages clinging to the mountains. Visit a Berber community and learn about daily life beyond the city walls. Stop at a local women's cooperative to see how argan oil is traditionally produced, then take in sweeping views of the Atlas Mountains standing strong against the horizon. Enjoy lunch and an optional hike up the waterfalls. Return to Marrakech in the evening for a relaxed dinner and a slower pace.
Seaside Escape to Essaouira
After breakfast, travel west toward the Atlantic coast. The landscape softens, the air grows salty, and Essaouira welcomes you with whitewashed walls and bright blue shutters. Check into your hotel before meeting your guide for a walking tour of this laid-back coastal gem. Stroll the ramparts, watch fishing boats bob in the harbor, and discover a quieter side of Morocco.
Sand, Sea & Spice
This morning, trade city streets for open shoreline as you embark on a camel ride along the beach, weaving through sand dunes and forested paths with the Atlantic breeze at your side. The afternoon is yours to relax at the hotel or tour the local souks and practice haggling. In the evening, roll up your sleeves for a traditional Moroccan cooking class. Learn the secrets of spices, slow-simmered sauces, and perfectly fluffy couscous. Then sit down together to enjoy the feast you've created for dinner.
Return to Marrakech
After breakfast, check out and journey back to Marrakech. The afternoon is free to explore, shop for last-minute treasures, visit a cafΓ©, or simply relax in your riad courtyard reflecting on the week's adventures.
Farewell Morocco
Enjoy one final breakfast before your private transfer takes you to Marrakech Airport. You leave with more than souvenirs. You carry desert hues, ocean air, mountain stillness, and the warmth of Moroccan hospitality stitched quietly into your memory.
*All itineraries are carefully planned but may be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances, local conditions, or operational considerations.
