Why This Italy Trip Is Different
Personally Curated by Someone Who Knows Italy
Unlike our other destinations where we partner with local tour operators, I designed this Italy experience myself and here's why that matters:
-
I've been to Rome, tasted my way through trattorias, navigated the crowds, and discovered what's worth your time vs. what's overhyped
-
This isn't a cookie-cutter package. I personally vetted every hotel, every experience, every guide. If it's on this itinerary, it's because I would (and have) spent my own money on it
-
Working with carefully selected private companies means more flexibility, better quality, and experiences tailored specifically for small groups of women travelers
-
This is my baby. I've spent months researching, comparing, and building relationships with local guides and companies to create something truly special
-
I get to experience Rome again through your eyes while using everything I've learned to skip the tourist traps and show you the real Italy
-
An itinerary that reflects what I wish I'd done on my first trip, combined with the insider knowledge I gained from actually being there.
The Companies Behind Your Experience
While I designed this trip myself, I've partnered with trusted private Italian companies for specific experiences to ensure quality and authenticity: Each partner was chosen for quality, authenticity, and their ability to create intimate experiences for small groups of women.

Your Host & Coordinator
Hello!I'm not just your host I'm a fellow traveler who believes the best trips happen when you slow down, connect with locals, and savor every moment.
By day, I'm a registered nurse in Tampa which means I'm organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure (excellent qualities in a trip host, especially when navigating Italian train stations!). But I've always had wanderlust, and after falling in love with Rome on my first visit, I knew I had to create a way to bring other women along.
I get it life is busy. Between work and responsibilities, carving out time to travel feels impossible sometimes. But I also know these trips aren't indulgent they're essential. They're investments in yourself, your joy, and your growth. That's exactly why I created Wander The Horizon: for women who work hard, crave adventure, and deserve to see the world without compromising on quality or going alone.
Let's explore Italy together!
